Question of the Day
Minimize
Q: Can fish oil help extreme anxiety and depression and how much? Also how bad is it to smoke while taking fish oil? I am trying to stay off them, but my body burns, and anxiety is worse. Your literature does not say anything about these issues. I am in dire need for help. I am currently also taking supplement for adrenal support, and it makes me feel really too relaxed, and I have a problem with my skin burning. Would fish oil help my adrenals to heal? I am 44 yrs old. I am currently taking ½ teaspoon fish oil

A: Follow the Zone diet and begin supplementing with 10 grams per day of OmegaRx. That's 1 tablespoon of liquid or 15 capsules. Smoking will not affect the fish oil, but as you know creates other problems. Controlling insulin levels with the Zone and supplementing with OmegaRx will establish a good foundation for improving your conditions. Always work with your physician.
